The picture for corn in Mato Grosso is different. Farmers in the state have forward contracted 19.7% of their anticipated 2026/27 corn production, which represents an increase of 3.8% during the month of September. The average price negotiated during September was R$ 48.69 per sack (approximately $4.45 per bushel).
